Eid Al-Fitr on Monday May 2nd at Lansing Center - 333 E Michigan Ave
The Islamic Center of East Lansing follows the Islamic Society of North America to determine the start and end of Ramadan. Accordingly, the first day of Eid-Al-Fitr will be celebrated on Monday, May 2, Inshaa Allah.
Eid-ul-Fitr - Monday, May 2
Venue: Lansing Center, 333 E Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48933
Parking: Monday May 2 is the first day of return to in-person work for employees at State of Michigan and downtown Lansing traffic and parking is expected to be busy. Please give yourself enough time to park and walk to the prayer venue.
Parking Options:
Convenient parking : Under, and north of Lansing Center. $2 per hour. Obtain ticket on entry, and pay on exit with card. You are recommended to use the pay-on-foot machines in the lobby of Lansing Center before you depart to make your exit quicker using the validated ticket. Preferred option for seniors and those who prefer to walk less. Fills up very quickly.
Street Parking: $1.50 per hour. Max 4 hours. Download Passport Parking App - Apple or Google Play. Upon arrival, enter the lot # in app.
North Grand Parking - $3 per hour. Max $15. A skywalk connects North Grand Parking Ramp to the Lansing Center. 219 N Grand Ave, Lansing, MI 4893
North Capitol Ramp - 316 N Capitol Ave
South Capitol Ramp - 320 S Capitol Ave
Both are $2.50 per hour and farther away from Lansing Center compared to other options listed above
